Gon Freecss is a 12 year old boy without any parents. His mother died when he was young, and his father is the fabled Hunter Jin Freecss. Hunters are fighters who travel the world looking for criminals, treasure, and fulfilling the duties assigned to them. Gon strives to meet his father, but the only way he can do that is to become one of the Hunters himself.
